Every continent, every country, every community, every career and every human condition is impacted by COVID 19. Our lives will never return to what we call “normal”.
We are all forever changed.
Now, when I walk alone or ride my bicycle in my neighborhood…there is not a person who misses an opportunity to wave and smile (from a distance). We understand that we are all interconnected and we are more aware of everyone in our social surroundings. Previously, low-wage workers who stocked our grocery shelves, made deliveries and cleaned our public spaces were almost invisible.  Today, these same people are our heroes, as are all health care workers. I am amazed by some individuals and local businesses who continue to find creative ways to support the unemployed who have limited resources or reach out to the elderly (and not so elderly) who are living in solitude. We are becoming better human beings, and I am excited about the future.
Let us all Sparkle On !
